I saw the film Waitress last night. It's a really beautiful film and I recommend it to everyone. I thought the story was very empowering and uplifting, particularly to women who are having a hard time the way the heroine of the film was. Just about every fandom I have been in has used this term to either discredit and undermine a female character and her numerous accomplishments or skill or to justify their dislike of her.
